The story
From the law
to a life in focus.
Raised in England by parents who immigrated from India and Kenya, Rashmi followed the professional path they had worked hard to make possible. She earned a law degree, qualified as a lawyer in the UK, and built photography alongside her legal career.
When her law firm offered redundancy during a merger, she chose the creative path she had been building on weekends and launched her first photography business, VividClicks. After moving to New York in 2015, she made Flatiron and NoMad home and officially launched Rashmi Gill Photography in 2016.
Today, Rashmi takes time to understand every client before creating a shoot around the images they genuinely need—from websites and press to social media, speaking engagements, and the next chapter of their business.
